OUR CULTURE

Northstar is committed to safety, making it an integral part of all operations.

Northstar employees and managers are responsible for the development and maintenance of our safety program by:

  • Complying with all regulatory requirements and sound industry safe work practices.
  • Identifying and communicating all safety hazards to employees, contractors and visitors.
  • Providing the necessary training and equipment to employees.
  • Respecting the rights of employees to refuse to perform work where unsafe conditions exist.

Northstar is dedicated to its participation in the Partnerships in Injury Reduction Program by maintaining a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Energy Safety Canada (Program Certifying Partner).

 
Our safety program is strengthened through the procedures developed to meet the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard and designed to seamlessly complement our ISO procedures.

The Northstar HSE Management System defines the principles by which we conduct our operations worldwide with regards to health, safety, and the environment.

Management communicates the HSE philosophy to all employees, customers, contractors, and third parties associated with our business.
